Sustaining members of the Newnan Junior Service League are women who have completed six years of active service to the league.
For many League members, transitioning from Active to Sustainer status marks not the end of their commitment to their League and the communities they serve, but rather a "new beginning." It is a time for renewing old friendships and making new friendships as well. Some Sustainers in the League remain actively involved in League work by serving as liaisons to Active committees, participating in projects, or engaging in fundraising activities. As Sustainers we are interested in the health and well being of the League on all levels.
Traditionally, Junior League Sustainers may focus more on social activities or interest group opportunities than on active voluntarism through League channels. We hope the information below helps you understand some of the activities made available to Sustaining members of the League.
Please join the fun. If you are eligible to be a Sustainer but have not as yet joined, we welcome your participation. Contact the League office for information. If you are a Sustainer, come on out and join the fun. This is a great opportunity to rekindle old friendships and make new friends. You are most welcome.
